Vice President, Global Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)
Mark Tichenor is Vice President, Global Environment, Health, Safety (EHS) and Sustainability. In this role, which he assumed in January 2018, Mark is responsible for providing direction for Novelis’ EHS strategy, programs and practices across the company’s operations. He is also responsible for helping to ensure that Novelis’ plants operate sustainably and adhere to environmental standards. In addition, Mark serves as a member of Novelis’ Manufacturing Council, which is accountable for driving standards and best practices at Novelis in areas including Manufacturing, EHS, Reliability and Quality.
Prior to his appointment as Vice President, Global EHS & Sustainability, Mark served as Director, EHS for Novelis North America. Since joining the company in 1989, Mark has served in a variety of process, operational leadership and plant manager roles in both North America and Asia.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
