On Wednesday, Novelis celebrated the inauguration of a new, state-of-the-art automotive aluminium sheet production line in Nachterstedt, Germany. The €62 million investment will increase Novelis’ production capacity for the automotive industry in Europe to 350,000 metric tons annually and will create 56 new jobs at the Nachterstedt facility. With this expansion, Novelis has strengthened its position as one of the largest employers in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt.
