In einem am 22. Juni in Recycling Today ver\u00f6ffentlichten Kommentar er\u00f6rtert Greg Schlicht, Senior Vice President des Gesch\u00e4ftsbereichs Global Beverage Packaging bei Novelis, die enormen Vorteile einer Erh\u00f6hung der Recyclingraten von Aluminiumdosen in den USA.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Aktuell werden in den USA nur 45\u00a0% der Aluminium-Getr\u00e4nkeverpackungen recycelt, damit liegen die USA hinter L\u00e4ndern wie Brasilien und Deutschland mit Recyclingraten von nahezu 100 %. Durch das Recycling von Aluminium werden nicht nur 95\u00a0% Energie im Vergleich zur Herstellung von neuem Aluminium eingespart, sondern es bietet auch das Potenzial f\u00fcr \u00fcber 100.000 neue Arbeitspl\u00e4tze, Lohnerh\u00f6hungen und Einsparungen von 1,3 Millionen Tonnen von Deponieabf\u00e4llen sowie f\u00fcr zus\u00e4tzliche Jahresums\u00e4tze von 1,6 Milliarden USD.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
