J57S® UP is a premium rolled aluminum alloy engineered by Novelis to meet the highest standards of modern architecture. Specifically developed for anodizing, it provides a brilliant metallic finish that enhances the aesthetic and structural impact of roofs, interiors and facade cladding.

Novelis anodizing quality J57S® UP is an AlMg1 (EN-AW 5005A) with chemical compositions that are controlled within very narrow limits so that the anodised facade cladding elements are consistent with their distinctive metallic appearance and offers optimal uniformity in colour and gloss levels.
Even when mixing J57S® UP from different production batches, color and gloss uniformity is maintained due to tight tolerances in chemical composition and manufacturing parameters.
The anodizing quality J57S® UP can be easily cut, drilled, punched, and has excellent bending characteristics.
Tight alloy tolerances as well as specific production processes and quality control procedures give rise to high surface quality with consistent uniformity. J57S® UP is non- flammable (96/603EC) and classified A1 (noncombustible, acc. DIN 4102).
