Neil Tresize

Vice President, Internal Audit, Novelis Inc.

Neil joined Novelis in October 2012 as Director, Derivatives Accounting. In September 2014, he was named Director, Corporate Finance, where he had responsibility for banking, capital markets and compliance. He was promoted to Assistant Treasurer in 2016 overseeing a major refinancing of Novelis’ corporate debt and implementing a number of key working capital financing programs. In 2017, he moved to his current role as Director, Financial Planning & Analysis for Novelis Europe. Prior to Novelis, Neil worked with E&Y in both Australia and the United States.

Neil holds both a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA from Berry College in Rome, Georgia. In addition, he is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and Certified Public Accountants in the United States.
