Novelis Advanz™ 6HF – s200 is a heat treatable aluminum sheet product specifically developed for internal automotive applications with demanding high formability requirements. This product offers an excellent balance of properties: superior formability in the as-supplied temper, good in-service strength and good bending. Novelis Advanz™ 6HF – s200 is recommended for door and decklid inners and other closure inner panels.
This product has an excellent balance of properties for forming and strength. In addition, it offers a unique advantage in the hemming process enabling sharp feature lines and rope hem designs that permit the reduction in perceived gap between adjacent panels. All values are typical.
This product is composed of an AlMgSi core alloy of the AA6016 family with a special ductile aluminum cladScrap can be recycled into AA6016.
